The Skills Debate

Description

A coordinated approach is required to excel in supplying and meeting the needs of the industry with a professional and trained workforce. The current skills shortage being felt by most countries indicates that it has become very clear that urgent action is needed to change and improve how our sector goes about bringing in new entrants into the fold. If our sector wants a long-term sustainable industry a more focused approach needs to be made at grassroots level together with a proactive outreach programme with a bottom-up approach that will contribute to developing an appreciation for a diverse film and audio-visual culture.
